This past week my schedule was unbelievably busy. I'm always busy, but for some reason last week seemed even more crazy! There were work obligations, family obligations, and I am currently traveling on the mainland so I needed to pack and prepare for this trip. This is going to be just a short article this week because I have to get back to meetings! Ugggh! However, while on this trip there has been a lot of networking, talking, and making new friends. With everything going on though, I still made sure I squeezed in time for ME. I got in a little workout at the gym and sat in my room to decompress and let my mind settle. For me, making time for a workout helps me to destress and I feel much better. And I'm not saying you have to do the same thing, but I do recommend that when things are crazy, your family is asking you to do things and your boss is constantly pressuring you to get things done, make sure you take charge of your own life and make time for YOU. Whether that be taking a warm bath, reading a book, going for a walk, whatever it may be; just make sure you don't neglect that time for yourself. If you don't then it will only cause the other areas of your life to suffer as well! Have a great week!
